35th Annual Ford vs. Chevy Drags Race

October 4, 5, & 6, 2024 at Gulfport Dragway, Gulfport, MS

This is your official Racer Information Sheet.

• • This year the Footbrake/Street Class will be separated into individual classes, “No Box” class and “Street” class. 
  • Only 300 cars will be allowed to race in this event.
  • The “No Box” class will be limited to 75 Ford entries and 75 Chevy entries. 
  • The “Street”class will be limited to 50 total entries. Street class participants will be required to have DOT tires and mufflers. These vehicles must properly fit the spirit of the class. 
  • Any registrations received after the 300 slots have been filled, will be returned.
  • The “Street” class, the “No Box” class & the “Electronics” class will be full 1/4 mile racing. 
  • The Electronics class and the Dragster class will fill the remaining 100 slots. 
  • The “Dragster” class will be 1/8” mile racing.
  • Note: Selling your racer ticket is permitted, however, please be advised that the racer whose name is listed on the tech card will receive the racer registration slot next year.
  • Gulfport Dragway will tech all cars. 
  • Anything to do with the actual race will be handled by Gulfport Dragway.
  • Payout Category Winner Runner Up Semi Finals Quarter Finals.

Street Class: (Entry Fee) $50 (Winner) $500.00; (Runner Up) $100.00; (Semi Finals) $50.00; (1^st Round Buyback) $20

No Box Class: (Entry Fee) $100; (Winner) $2,500.00; (Runner Up) $500.00; (Semi Finals) $200.00; (Quarter Finals) $75.00; (1^st Round Buyback) $40

Electronics: (Entry Fee) $100; (Winner) $2,500.00; (Runner Up) $500.00; (Semi Finals) $200.00; (Quarter Finals) $100.00; (1^st Round Buyback) $40

Dragster: (Entry Fee) $100; (Payback) 80% of car count or purse
